While there seems to be a lack of opportunities for locals, there are many ways to gain skills and obtain remote positions. Currently, in tech, there is a movement for rural workers over overseas workers. If we have the skills, we can obtain positions. I know of several people in this town working remotely out of Seattle, Hartford, Fairfield and California. You can do it. You just need some guidance. We will post training and information about how you can not only do some side hustles but obtain a full time or contract position that is legitimately remote with steady paychecks.

You may need Zoom, Teams, or another video conferencing software as these types of positions require an interview, usually online. You will need tech skills. Depending on what position you desire, you may need a degree. All this is possible.
